Srushti deshmukh, who is in her third year of engineering, has already begun preparation for UPSC. When she graduated she wondered if she could be happy with her engineering job. She realized later that her dream job was within the civil service, and she started to focus on it. Her parents encouraged her to go into civil service and pursue an employment in the public sector. Her motivation was to be an IAS officer and was focused on that goal. In order to be a candidate for UPSC it is necessary to do more. She used to study her engineering courses and prepare for UPSC while also studying other disciplines. Every day, she set aside time to prepare for the exam. She studied for the engineering exams in just one and a half months, avoiding social life. The focus she believes is vital to pass the examination to get a government job, and be able to work as a civil servant. She was committed to passing the exam and put in a lot of number of efforts. Every day, she read the newspaper to keep abreast of current affairs. On the internet, she gathered numerous study resources and also watched Rajya Sabha TV.
