The most impressive career could conceal the most tragic of tales. Lolo Jones, who was the winner of the USA as well as the World championships in hurdle events in 2013, has only reached this position by putting in a lot of work and perseverance. Jones, who was born into a family of no mothers with five children in poverty and hardship as a youngster, experienced an extremely challenging childhood. Her mother was always in motion, and had even lived in the basement of a church for some duration. Jones was required to relocate to a different school each year up until her time in high school due to this sporadic lifestyle. Jones was separated from her family at Theodore Roosevelt in order to compete in the track and field.
