Yael stone, a New York City-based Australian resident, portrayed Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael has received her NIDA degree. Her early work experience has enabled her to work with Australia's top storytellers. Yael has a very accomplished career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael moved from Australia to New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of the Music's production of the show was a huge success. Yael founded The Cannery with her co-founders. Based in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the business supports the development of new writing as well as imaginative, inventive ventures.
